Linux and UNIX System Administration Certification Exam by UNIX Academy

The Linux and UNIX System Administration Certification Exam is a substantial test of your skills and knowledge. It is designed with two goals in mind: to help you capitalize on advanced Linux/UNIX knowledge and provide documented proof of it to your potential employers. It is one of the most prestigious of UNIX Academy exams, and it teaches (and tests) subjects that are central to one's ability to assume full control over Linux/UNIX systems.
This is a 3-hour timed test consisting of 150 questions. It requires a passing score of 80% and can be taken up to three times during a 7-day period. The objective of the test is to help you develop skills and an in-depth understanding of Linux/UNIX systems. This exam covers a broad range of advanced skills and concepts, file systems, process and resource management, file permission models, security issues, user accounts, networking, daemon management, lvm, system and network configurations and more. We recommend (but do not require) that this exam be taken after the "Linux and UNIX Core" and "Linux and UNIX Networking Core" exams.
Individuals who are succeeded with this test may claim substantial Linux/UNIX knowledge and an in-depth understanding of system and network-related issues. They are capable of establishing and managing various Linux/UNIX systems, troubleshooting, performing all kinds of system-related tasks, and represent a valuable resource to any organization or company that employs them. The Certificate will be mailed to you within ten business days after successful completion of the exam.
The UNIX Academy Certification Exam is an online software product and requires a computer with Internet connection.
